Metalmuusika suurnimi MEGADETH annab Tallinnas eksklusiivse kontserdi

28. juunil esineb Tallinnas, Rock Cafés metalmuusika suurnimi Megadeth. Thrash-metali «Suurde nelikusse» kuuluv Ameerika bänd annab Tallinnas eksklusiivse kontserdi – raskemetali kuulsuse esinemisele müüakse vaid 900 piletit.

Megadeth tuleb Eestisse «TH1RT3EN World Tour» maailmaturnee raames, millele bänd siirdus pärast 13. stuudioalbumi «Th1rt3en» ilmumist.

 Megadethi uus plaat nägi ilmavalgust 2011. aasta lõpus ning bändi asutajaliikme, laulja ja kitarristi Dave Mustaine’i sõnul on ta ülimalt uhke uue materjali üle. «Uus album on kulminatsioon tööst, mida olen 13 albumi salvestamise käigus teinud. Sellel plaadil on hetki, mis väljendavad igat minu emotsiooni ning on aga ka hetki, mil avastasin endas tundeid, mille olemasolu kohta polnud mul aimugi. See plaat hõlmab minu muusikalise karjääri uhkemaid hetki» – lisas Mustaine. Albumi salvestamisest võttis osa ka bändi teine asutaja liige, basskitarrist Dave Ellefson, kes kuulus Megadethi koosseisu aastail 1983 – 2002.

Megadeth väisab juunis Maarjamaad teist korda, viimati andis Ameerika bänd Eestis kontserdi 2010. aastal  Haapsalu Lossihoovis. Seekord, 28. juunil esineb Megadeth Tallinnas Rock Cafés eksklusiivse kontserdiga, millele müüakse vaid 900 piletit.

Metsatöllu trummar Marko Atso sõnul on Megadeth maailma üks parimaid metal-livebände. «Olen näinud palju ansambleid, Megadethi paigutaks viie parima hulka. Megadeth ja Slayer on need kaks metalbändi, kelle kontserte külastan alati kui võimalus selleks avaneb. Kes tahab näha kuidas peab õige metalkontsert kõlama ja tunda kuidas kaks tundi möödub nagu 20 minutit, tulge kohale!» – lisas Atso. Ka Eesti tuntud kitarristi Tarvo Valmi seisukohalt tasub kindlasti minna Megadethi vaatama: «Megadethi live-esinemise juures meeldivad mulle tehnilised kidrakäigud, lõputult palju soolosid, perfektne esitlus ja megahead lood. Kui seda kõike saada tahta ühelt kontserdilt, siis tuleb 28. juunil kindlasti sammud Rock Café poole seada» – kommenteeris Valm.

Pea kolmkümmend aastat aktiivselt maailma suurlavadel tegutsenud ja metalmuusika arengut kõvasti mõjutanud Megadeth on olnud kümnel korral maineka Grammy auhinna nominent. Megadethi salvestisi on maailmas müüdud üle 25 miljoni koopia. Koos Metallica, Slayeri ja Anthraxi kuulub Megadeth thrash-metali «Suurde nelikusse».

Metalmuusika suurnimi Megadeth esineb Tallinnas, Rock Cafés 28. juunil.

Piletid Megadethi Tallinna kontserdile tulevad vabamüüki neljapäeval, 23. veebruaris hommikul kell 10.00 Ticketpro internetipoes aadressil www.ticketpro.ee ja kõigis Ticketpro müügipunktides üle Eesti. Piletihind on 39 eurot.

Forces Of Metal Festival, Netherlands Fails To Fulfill Contractual Obligations – MANOWAR Performance Canceled

Following the festival organizer’s failure to meet their contractual obligations, making MANOWAR’s headlining performance at Forces Of Metal Festival on June 8th 2012 impossible, the band’s performance is officially canceled.

Magic Circle Management have done everything in their power to save this performance for the sake of the fans, but the organizers have failed to find a solution to all of their problems and Magic Circle Management must protect the MANOWAR fans.

The band was looking forward to returning to Holland with next year’s massive festival production. Magic Circle management hope that Forces Of Metal will immediately refund all tickets sold to all those who purchased a ticket to see MANOWAR.

Those who have purchased tickets to Forces Of Metal, Netherlands to see MANOWAR are urged to immediately contact the promoter’s office to obtain a full refund.

Manowar tuleb taas Inglismaale ja Iirimaale novembris 2011
